Teacher child Program

This program is to make your child an independent confident swimmer through developing and correcting their stroke skills.

Swimmers will become well prepared and ready to participate in a more advanced Stroke Development/Squad program once perfecting skills and drills in this Level.

Dolphin Level 1

Confident independent swimmers

  • Basic freestyle arms (with board and no breathing)
  • Push and glide off wall on back
  • Confident back kick with straight legs (no board)
  • Can swim to a distance easily propelling themselves through the water
  • Kicking with a Board- holding the board with arms straight, eyes and ears underwater, holding breath.
  • Streamline Kick
Dolphin Level 2

Highly confident independent swimmers. Students swim the full length of the pool.

  • Freestyle - introduction to bilateral breathing
  • Backstroke
  • 15m Freestyle
  • Developing a 6 beat kick
  • Developing breath control
  • Maintaining streamline position
Dolphin Level 3

Children will be confident in different types of strokes in this class and confidently swim the length of the pool.

  • Work on breath control
  • Freestyle Drills
  • Backstroke Drills
  • Confidently do Freestyle for above 15m
  • Small group of 4-5
Dolphin Level 4

Highly confident swimmers who can apply different types strokes. Helps children to become self-confident and believe in their abilities. Swimmers will become well prepared and ready to participate in a more advanced Stroke Development/Squad program once they complete this Level.
